We confirm your right to erasure under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).
Identity information (phone/email, name), conversation history, "Naari remembers" details, location, payment records, device information, and support communications.
Raw conversation text is automatically deleted after 90 days. Deleting a memory or your account doesn't need to wait for this — see below.
Anything Naari remembers about you can be deleted one item at a time, right from your profile in the app — no need to contact us for this.
Naari Companion does not currently offer an in-app full-account deletion feature — all full-account deletion requests must be submitted by email to grievance.naarisutra@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my Naari Companion account," from the email or phone number linked to your account. We'll confirm your request and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity.
If your phone/email is also linked to CookSorted or LookSorted, we'll ask you to confirm whether you want those apps' data deleted too, or only Naari Companion's.
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Any active Naari Plus subscription is cancelled immediately — no refund is issued for the remaining subscription period.
Your data may involve our AI provider, payment processors, and notification services. We'll notify them of your deletion request, but cannot guarantee their own compliance timelines.
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your request, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India or the National Consumer Helpline.
